Antechamber
The Antechamber is the central part of the tomb that connects the other three chambers. This room is comprised of treasure, roughly 700 objects and described to be discovered in a condition of “organized chaos”. Most of the items were made or covered in gold. The Antechamber enclosed many objects such as linen cloth, arrows, boxes, baskets, vases, jars, footstools, stools, couches, chests, beds, shrines, and large statues. Some unique objects found within the room include three funeral beds or couches that contain plates of a hippopotamus, a lion, and cow’s head. There were stacked components of four chariots and two great life-size statues of Tutankhamun.

Annex Room
The Annex room is the smallest room within the tomb. This chamber consists of up to 280 groups of items and in excess of 2,000 individual pieces. This room was used to store scents, ointments, oils, wines, food, dishes, pottery, games, baskets, and tools.
Burial ChamberThe Burial chamber is more stylish than the other rooms and is not filled with hundreds of items. This room contains the most prized of treasures within the whole tomb. Most of the chamber is taken up by the four gilded wooden shrines that are surrounded by eleven paddles for the solar boat. Within the fourth and last shrine the mummy of Tutankhamun is contained within three mummiform coffins. The two outer coffins are made up of gilded wood while the innermost coffin is comprised of solid gold.

Treasury Room
The Treasury chamber is the only side room of the burial chamber. It has approximately 5,000 items and consists of objects such as funerary items, chests, boats, shrines, two more chariots, and two mummies of fetuses that are considered to be Tutankhamun's stillborn daughters. There is a large statue of Anubis of the Egyptian god and a wooden shrine which is gilded in gold that encloses four canopic jars that stored Tutankhamun's organs. There was also a total of thirty four statues, thirty six wine jar filled with vintage wine, and 14 boats.

Tutankhamun's Mummy
King Tutankhamun’s mummy is decorated with a death / funerary mask that is made of solid gold and it also comprises of lapis lazuli, carnelian, quartz, obsidian, turquoise, glass and faience. The mummy is also wrapped in bandages. He had items that encased his body such as gold jewellery, daggers, and pieces of armour as the layers of the mummy bandages were removed. On the outer layer of the body there was a scarab of black resin attached to a gold band that hung off Tutankhamun’s neck. King Tut also had a pair of burnished gold hands sown into the bandages, a large gold ba-bird, and jewellery amulets found in the inner-wrappings.
